Alhamd Lillah, Allah (swt) has blessed us with another Dhul Hijjah, when millions of believers are on their way answering the call of their Master to visit the blessed Masjid Al Haram, fulfilling the 5th Piller of Islam, Al Hajj adhering to the sunnah of our beloved Propher Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سل .

Allah Azzawajal out of his endless mercy has given us few “Special Seasons” in our short life span like the Holy month of Ramadan we recently had. These are days where rewards for good deeds are multiplied so many times, here again is one such season, the 1st ten days of Dhul Hijjah.

It is mentioned that Hajj is Arafa, the 9th of Dhul Hijja where the Hujjaj stand around Mt Arafa seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. Allah (swt) forgives the sins for the past year and future year as its reward to those who fast on this day. What a blessed day!!!

Alhamdulillah, Eid ul Adha is on Monday, 12 Sep 2016 Insha Allah and Sunday 11 Sept is the Day of Arafa, so please make your best efforts to fast on that day. It is encouraged to fast other days (first 8 days) and get abundant rewards.

There will be plenty of fun activities and games for kids and adults along with Islamic lectures insha Allah.

The main meal “Majboos” is provided by AMIA prepared by Br Saleemka and team. Volunteer helpers are needed and please come early to the venue.

1. Families please bring any 2 of the following items. (Bachelors need not bring)
· 1 kg Barbecue marinated meat
· 1 plate of snacks
· Any sweet dish

Also please note the sweet dish makers (any sweet dish) can enter a competition and the best dish will be selected by our panel of judges, Insha Allah!
